Duke Agares
Agares (or Agreas), ruling the eastern zone of Hell, and being served by 31 legions of demons.
He can make runaways come back and those who run stand still, finding pleasure in teaching immoral expressions. He also has the power to destroy dignities, both temporal and supernatural. A master linguist, he is also known to incite dancing among mortals.
He is depicted as a pale old man riding a crocodile.
King Bael
(1.) Bael. — The First Principal Spirit is a King ruling in the East, called Bael. He maketh thee to go Invisible. He ruleth over 66 Legions of Infernal Spirits. He appeareth in divers shapes, sometimes like a Cat, sometimes like a Toad, and sometimes like a Man, and sometimes all these forms at once. He speaketh hoarsely. This is his character which is used to be worn as a Lamen before him forth, or else he will not do thee homage.
According to le Grand Grimoire, Bael is the head of the infernal powers. He is also the first demon listed in Wierus’ Pseudomonarchia daemonum. According to Wierus, Bael is first king of Hell with estates in the east. He has three heads: a toad, a man, and a cat. He also speaks in a raucous, but well formed voice, and commands 66 legions. Bael teaches the art of invisibility, and may be the equivalent of Baal, one of the Seven princes of Hell.
Krokodil (“Крокодил” or “crocodile”), an opiate from Russia cooked out of gasoline, paint thinner, hydrochloric acide, and red phosphorous” plus the key ingredient, codeine. According to a report out of animalny the stuff is 10 times harder than normal heroin and three times cheaper (a winning combination if you can fathom it).
What makes krokodi all the more appealing is its delicious ability of disfiguring you around the point of injection and leaving you looking like a bloated monkey with gangrene.At present the epidemic isn’t recognized by the Russian government with most affected users seeking solace from underground Russian Evangelical churches. It is said the estimated life expectancy of users on crocodile is 2-3 years- which doesn’t sound too good, but then again that’s the whole paradox of drugs- it feels so good but is so damn bad for you.
The murder of Tim McLean
22 year old Tim McLean was returning home to Alberta, Canada on a Greyhound bus, on July July 30, 2008. At a stop in Erickson, a new passenger got on the bus - Vince Weiguang Li, a tall man in his 40’s. After sitting in the front of the bus for a while, Li moved to the back to sit next to Tim McLean. McLean “barely acknowledged” Li, then fell asleep against the window pane, headphones covering his ears.According to witnesses, McLean was sleeping with his headphones on when the man sitting next to him suddenly produced a large knife and began stabbing McLean in the neck and chest. The attacker then decapitated McLean and displayed his severed head to other passengers outside who had fled the bus in horror. The driver and two other men attempted to rescue McLean but were chased away by Li, who slashed wildly at them from behind the locked bus doors. Li then went back to the body and began severing other body parts and consuming some of McLean’s flesh.
When to police arrived, Li was still on the bus with the body, being prevented from escaping by another passenger, the bus driver, and a truck driver who had provided a crowbar and a hammer as weapons. The other passengers were huddled at the roadside, some of them crying and vomiting. As the suspect had earlier attempted to escape by driving the bus away, the driver had engaged the emergency immobilizer system, rendering the vehicle inoperable. Witnesses had observed the suspect stabbing and cutting McLean’s body, and carrying McLean’s severed head. The suspect taunted police, alternately pacing the length of the bus and cutting and defiling the corpse. Police officers then observed Li eating parts of the body.
Li was arrested shortly thereafter. Parts of the victim’s body, placed in plastic bags, were retrieved from the bus, while his ear, nose and tongue were found in Li’s pockets. The victim’s eyes and a part of his heart were never recovered and are presumed to have been eaten by the accused.
The murderer, Vince Weiguang Li, immigrated to Canada from China in 2001. He never had problems with aggressive behavour until the murder occured. During the murder trial, he was diagnosed with schizophrenia, which means he could not be held criminally responsible for the murder. Li was remanded to a high-security mental health facility. Though he had not fully emerged from the psychotic phase, the psychiatrist said that Li was beginning to realize what he had done, though he cannot accept that he cannibalized McLean.
